Rain-tones ring on roof tiles, drowning
whispers of daydreams dancing on the clouds
My head swims in hanging lakes,
adrift in wonder, lost in time
A soft cascade of memories
pools along my window sash,
each tear a tale upon the pane,
secrets swirling in my puddled past
The sky confesses timeless stories,
written in rhythms of joy and pain
each raindrop a verse of poetry,
the world reborn with every rain.

Timely poem. It's been rainy, windy, cool and WET for the past 2 weeks. It feels like we're back in Oregon!
